Several acts of vandalism have been reported in Alcudia over the past few days, and the local police have posted a message on social media warning the perpetrator or perpetrators that ‘the time will come’ and that they will have to face the legal and financial consequences of their actions.

“This message is directed specifically at the perpetrator or perpetrators of these acts: the time will come. We guarantee that we will continue to work, investigate and use all available means to identify you. And when that happens, you will have to bear all the legal and financial consequences of the damage caused in our municipality,” they warned.

The police force has condemned the graffiti that has been sprayed in an uncivil and irresponsible manner in the historic centre of the municipality and in other parts of the town. The Local Police have requested the cooperation of the general public in order to try to find the vandals. ‘If anyone has seen anything, has evidence, images or any suspicions about the identity of those responsible, they can contact the Alcudia Local Police,’ they said, guaranteeing confidentiality and anonymity.

The message is addressed directly to the perpetrator or perpetrators of these acts: the time will come. “We guarantee that we will continue to work, investigate and use all available means to identify you.”
“We also request the cooperation of the public. If anyone has seen anything, has evidence, images or any suspicions about the identity of those responsible, please contact the Alcudia Local Police. Confidentiality and anonymity are fully guaranteed. “Alcudia is a city that loves its heritage and will not tolerate any behaviour that threatens it. Respect for public spaces is an obligation, not an option.”
