A key event for the tourism industry will be taking place on Friday, 25 September, when Palma’s Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will be the location for the first ever international conference on tourism innovation.
Organised by IT Holding Capital, via its Agora Next think tank operation, and by Telefonica, some 300 attendees - business leaders, entrepreneurs (Spanish and international), senior executives and others - will hear about ways in which the tourism industry can broaden its horizons through technological and digital transformation. Entitled “Confidence and Innovation: the future is better than you think,” it will aim to inspire businesses to follow the examples of others, who will share their experiences and success stories, and it will give a stage to experts who will consider how to prepare for the challenges and opportunities for tourism in the digital age. As such, it is applicable to start-up and established businesses which are looking at how advanced technological tools can improve the management, promotion and sale of tourism products.
