Palma.—Air Berlin yesterday agreed to pay the owner of a British Bulldog who died while travelling from Seville to Palma with the airline, 2,635 euros in compensation and 550 euros to help cover costs.
The case was heard yesterday in a Palma court and the two parties reached a settlement.
According to the pet owner’s lawyer “Air Berlin recognise that it is responsible for the death of Nano who ground staff left sitting in the runway next to the plane in the sun for 40 minutes.”
