Jet2.com will offer almost 1.5 million seats to the Balearics this summer, representing an increase of more than 135,000 seats, 10% more than in the 2025 summer season. The company has announced its development plans for the region during the annual Fitur trade fair in Madrid, where it has detailed its flight and tourism schedule for next summer. Part of this growth and the summer schedule will be distributed across the months of lower demand within the summer season.

In high season, the airline will reach a peak of more than 300 weekly flights, with direct connections to its 14 bases in the United Kingdom: Bournemouth, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, London-Gatwick, London-Luton, London-Stansted, Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Belfast, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

For its part, the tour operator Jet2holidays, associated with the airline, will work directly with more than 600 hotels in the region, offering complete holiday packages. Mallorca will once again be Jet2.com’s main airport in Spain, with almost 890,000 seats expected to arrive in the summer of 2026, representing an increase of around 90,000 seats compared to the previous season, an 11% increase. At peak times, the island will reach a peak of 182 flights per week.

In the case of Ibiza, the airline will exceed 360,000 seats offered on arrivals, with around 10,000 more seats than in 2025 and a maximum of 78 flights per week during the high season. Menorca will see the highest percentage growth, with an increase of 19% compared to the summer of 2025. The offer will reach almost 240,000 seats on arrivals, some 37,000 more than last season.

And the news comes on the back of the recent announcement that Emirates Skywards has partnered with the UK’s favourite airline Jet2.com to offer members flight rewards to more than 75 destinations across the leading leisure airline’s network. The award-winning loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai continues to expand its portfolio in the UK to offer its four million members more opportunities, rewards and travel choices.
