A woman has been injured in a fire that broke out in a house in Llucmajor (Mallorca), which also resulted in the death of several pets. According to the Mallorca Fire Brigade, the emergency services responded to a fire in a three-storey house (ground floor and two upper floors) located in Llucmajor.
The fire, which started on the ground floor, was very intense, causing significant damage. A mother and her son were living inside the house. The mother was taken to hospital for medical attention. Several pets also died as a result of the fire: a dog, a cat, a parrot and two birds. Other animals that were in the outside courtyard survived.
Firefighters from the Mallorca Fire Station in Llucmajor, the sergeant and two technicians, worked to extinguish the flames. The house where the fire broke out has been sealed off, according to the Mallorca Fire Brigade, due to the serious structural and electrical damage it has suffered.
