Mallorca's gastronomic scene continues to flourish, cementing the island's reputation as an essential destination for those seeking exceptional culinary experiences. The Balearic hotspot currently boasts several Michelin-starred restaurants, including Voro, Fusion 19, Dins, Béns d'Avall, sa Clastra, Es Fum, Maca de Castro, Marc Fosh, and Zaranda. While prices exceed average dining costs, high-end cuisine can be enjoyed from as little as 65 euros per person, with menus catering to various tastes and budgets.
At Dins restaurant, located within the El Llorenç boutique hotel, chef Santi Taura presents an 11-course tasting menu priced at 115 euros. The restaurant team explains, "For us, the tasting menu isn't simply a trend." In 2025, Terrae restaurant in Puerto Pollensa, helmed by chef David Rivas, received the prestigious Green Star award, recognising establishments committed to sustainable gastronomy. Their tasting menu is available for 102 euros.
Voro restaurant, situated in Cap Vermell and boasting two Michelin stars, currently doesn't display prices on its website, with updated menu information unavailable until the new season begins in March 2026. Similarly, Fusion 19 in Playa de Muro, run by chefs Aleix Serra and Marc Marsol, hasn't published pricing on their website as they develop next season's menu offerings.
Premium dining experiences across the island
Béns d'Avall, directed by Benet and Jaume Vicens, has updated their Ánima menu to 160 euros with an optional wine pairing for 120 euros. The restaurant aims to "highlight the value of products we grow in our own gardens, under permaculture philosophy," delivering an experience deeply connected to the local territory. At Es Fum, located in the St. Regis Mardavall hotel under José Miguel Navarro's direction, three menus are available: Origen at 185 euros, Vegetal at 165 euros, and Recorrido at 235 euros. Wine pairings cost 120 euros for Origen and Vegetal, and 175 euros for Recorrido. They describe their offering as "a culinary pearl in one of Mallorca's most outstanding locations."
Maca de Castro restaurant in Puerto Alcudia offers its tasting menu for 165 euros with two pairing options: Mallorcan wines for 50 euros (four wines) or national wines for 100 euros (nine wines). The restaurant team explains, "Our tasting menu reflects our understanding of cooking: listening to our surroundings, working exclusively with local produce, and allowing the seasons to set the pace," emphasising the influence of Mallorca's land and sea.
British chef Marc Fosh, within Palma's Hotel Convent de la Missió, diners can enjoy a lunch menu for 65 euros, a midday menu for 105 euros with an 80 euros wine pairing, and the Marc menu for 130 euros with a 95 euros wine pairing. According to management, their cuisine aims to "condense the essence of Mallorcan ingredients in every dish."
Extended dining experiences
Finally, Zaranda, situated in Es Príncep hotel and led by Fernando Pérez Arellano, presents two tasting menus. The A flor de piel menu costs 165 euros and lasts approximately two and a half hours, while the Plena flor menu is offered at 195 euros and extends to around three and a half hours, providing a prolonged and meticulously crafted gastronomic journey.
Mallorca continues to establish itself as a gastronomic reference point, offering everything from accessible menus to extensive signature experiences, where haute cuisine combines with respect for local products and the creativity of internationally recognised chefs.
