After just one year of operation, the restaurant Mouna has been awarded 3 radishes by the We’re Smart World Green Guide—the highest rating for a vegetarian dining establishment in Palma. Located within the Espai Buit spiritual centre, it is the only restaurant in the Balearics to receive this accolade in 2025, and one of just three in the region to hold it.

We’re Smart World recognises sustainable culinary excellence and environmental commitment, evaluating restaurants worldwide according to sustainability and environmental protection, social impact, and gastronomic excellence based on the prioritised use of fruits and vegetables.

Mouna is led by chef Marc Galeazzi, who explained: “We offer the community conscious dining at every stage, from the land to the kitchen and onto the plate, with a daily effort to achieve excellence in flavours, textures, and presentations that surprise our diners’ palates.”

Housed within an early 20th-century townhouse, Mouna forms a key part of Espai Buit, a project aimed at bringing together diverse voices and expressions from various branches of humanistic knowledge.

According to Mouna, “Our cuisine stands out as the only 100% organic restaurant in Palma, offering a conscious menu at every stage, from the land to the table, with dishes sourced from nature and a network of local farmers and producers who cultivate and work ethically and sustainably.
