Pierce Brosnan has enjoyed one of the most central streets in Palma: El Born. The actor and former James Bond, who is in Mallorca filming the series “Mobland” executive produced and partly directed by Guy Ritchie, had a cocktail at one of the bars in this area. “It was a real pleasure to welcome Pierce Brosnan to Born 8. During his visit, he chose our cocktail “The Great Lebowski”. Thank you very much for visiting!” the bar wrote on Monday on its Instagram profile, alongside a carousel of images showing the artist smiling broadly.

The restaurant Born 8 has a terrace overlooking the Paseo del Born and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner on its menu. It also has a completely renovated bar where the bartenders prepare exclusive cocktails made with fresh ingredients and quality spirits, which the actor did not want to miss the opportunity to try. Brosnan is on the Balearic island for the filming of the series Mobland, in which he stars with Helen Mirren.

During his stay in Mallorca, Pierce has also been seen at the restaurant La Posada de Valldemossa, as the business itself shared on its social media last Friday. In the image, the restaurant staff could be seen alongside the actor: ‘A very special visit to La Posada: Pierce Brosnan with our team.’ The actor was accompanied by colleagues from the film set and one of his sons.

As for the menu, the diners enjoyed starters such as croquettes, squid, padrón peppers, meatballs and prawns, as well as “pa amb oli” (bread with olive oil). For drinks, they opted for a Mallorcan white wine from Bodegas Ángel de Binissalem and for dessert they ordered a delicious crema catalana.

During his stay, the actor also immersed himself in Mallorcan culture with a visit to the Cathedral, accompanied by the canon of Liturgy of La Seu, Pere Oliver, who explained various historical, artistic and liturgical aspects of the building. The actor was friendly and attentive throughout, showing particular interest in the contemporary features that coexist with the Gothic architecture of the temple.

In addition, before their visit to La Seu, Brosnan and Mirren toured the facilities of the Fundació Miró Mallorca. The Hollywood stars were able to see first-hand spaces such as the Edificio Estrella and the Taller Sert, where Miró’s creative spirit can be felt in every corner.
This is at least the actor’s third visit to the island.
