From February 20–26, Mallorca hosts a varied cultural programme. In Arta, clarinettists perform works by Berio, Boulez and Reich. Palma features the Balearic Symphony Orchestra with Richard Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer, piano and art collaborations, sixties pop group Formula V, and a Dire Straits tribute. Weekend highlights include tributes to The Cranberries, film music favourites like Beauty and the Beast, jazz, dance, baroque concerts, Chinese New Year celebrations, local fiestas, and a final symphony concert in Manacor.
