The new English-language films showing this week in Palma and Marratxí bring three major releases.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Emma Tammi’s tense sequel starring Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio and Elizabeth Lail, brings a new round of terror to Ocimax, Porto Pi and Festival Park. Eternity, a moving afterlife romance with Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen, arrives at CineCiutat. Spielberg’s timeless classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial screens for one night only as part of the Absolute Cinema series.
Still showing are audience favourites including Nuremberg, Zootropolis 2, Blue Moon, Jay Kelly, Wicked For Good, and Bugonia. Coming soon: Avatar: Fire and Ash premieres on December 19, continuing James Cameron’s saga as Jake and Neytiri face the fierce Ash People and a rising conflict on Pandora.
