The met agency says the coming week will be characterised by settled conditions and a rise in temperatures. Monday is expected to be similar to Sunday - cloudy spells at times and possible isolated showers. If there is rain, Aemet suggests it is most likely to be in northern areas.
From Tuesday on, there is very little risk of rain. The outlook is for mainly sunny skies and for higher temperatures. Weather stations are putting highs at around 28C, but on Saturday the temperatures are currently expected to go higher, reaching a possible maximum of 33C in the north of Mallorca. The average for the second half of May is 23 to 24C.
