Yellow alerts for the coasts in the early hours of Saturday - until 4am in the Tramuntana and to 6am in the north/northeast and east. There is the risk of some light rain in the morning and the evening; the afternoon is expected to be sunny across much of the island.
Storm Deborah will move off, but another storm is due to affect Mallorca on Sunday. Wind, and a fierce north wind at that, is forecast for the whole island, so there is an alert for high wind for all areas. In the Tramuntana and the north/northeast, where there are amber warnings for the coasts, there are yellow alerts for rain and thunderstorms as well as for the wind. In the east, there is an amber warning for the coast.
As they were yesterday, weather stations are predicting gusts of 100 km/h and more in the Tramuntana and the north/northeast. Also on Sunday, there is an indication of snow at 600 metres.
The north wind, generally near gale force, is forecast to continue blowing on Monday and Tuesday.
