The whole of Mallorca except for the south is under a yellow alert for high winds from midnight Monday to 6am Tuesday; gusts of 70 km/h. There is also a yellow alert for the north/northeast coast for the same hours. The wind is then expected to ease. There may be cloudy spells in the morning, but it should be a mostly sunny day with temperatures pushing into the 20s.
As noted in yesterday's report, the strongest winds this week are forecast for Thursday. Aemet has confirmed that another storm is on the way. At present, weather stations aren't indicating high risks of rain, but temperatures are due to fall. Friday could also be quite windy for a time. Gusts of up to 90 km/h are forecast.
