Mallorca is under a yellow alert for heavy rain and storms. The regional office of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) in the Balearic Islands has warned that the alert will remain in force until 6 pm, with up to 20 mm of rain possible in an hour and 40–60 mm expected over two to three hours.
There is also a risk of small hail, and temperatures are set to fall slightly, with maximums ranging between 13 °C and 16 °C. Winds will be light to moderate from the east, making it another cold day across the island. Authorities and Emergències 112 have urged people to take extra care and stay updated with local weather warnings.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, 30 December, the weather will improve, with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Scattered, occasional showers are expected during the morning, but these should ease by the afternoon.
Later in the day, clearer skies will emerge as the cloud breaks up, bringing more settled conditions. Temperatures will remain largely steady, with light to moderate winds shifting from the north to the west.
On Wednesday, 31 December, the final day of 2025, skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of isolated, light rain. Temperatures will stay steady or dip slightly, and winds will blow light to moderate from the north and northeast.
