Last week we had the long-term, forecast for autumn and it’s looking good for low season holidays.
In the meantime, the last week of summer 2025 is here, and it is looking good for Mallorca with temperatures higher than usual for this time of year. Maximum temperatures of around 30º-31º are expected, while the average maximum temperature for the end of September is 27º. Autumn will begin next Sunday, 22 September, at 7:19 p.m.

The regional office of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) in the Balearics forecasts partly cloudy skies. In addition, there will be morning mist, with the possibility of some fog in Mallorca. Night-time temperatures will drop slightly, while daytime temperatures will remain unchanged or rise slightly, exceeding 30º-31º in some areas. There will be a light easterly wind with coastal breezes.

The weather forecast for Mallorca for Tuesday, 16 September, indicates mainly clear skies. In addition, there will be morning mist again. Night-time temperatures will remain largely unchanged, while daytime temperatures will drop in the north of the island. The wind will generally be light from the north-east, with coastal breezes in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, 17 September, clear skies are expected, with the return of morning mist and the possibility of fog patches. Night-time temperatures will drop slightly, while daytime temperatures will rise a little. The wind will be light and variable, with coastal breezes. Stable weather will continue to be the norm on Thursday, 18 September. Specifically, partly cloudy skies are expected. The Aemet forecasts morning mist, with the possibility of fog patches. Night-time temperatures will drop slightly, while daytime temperatures will rise slightly again. In addition, the wind will be light and variable with coastal breezes.

In the UK, it’s a different story. Low pressure is sweeping in from the Atlantic bringing a spell of strong winds and heavy rain across the UK. A Met Office Yellow wind warning has been issued across most of England and all of Wales for today. Coastal gales may develop bringing large waves to southern and western shores. Travel disruption and power cuts are also possible. And unlike Mallorca, as the UK heads deeper into the autumn months most forecast models indicate an increased chance of a ‘wetter than average’ spell until November.
