So, who got rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday and who didn't? The most affected area was the southeast; Campos copped for more rain than anywhere else. There was localised rain elsewhere but far less. Much of the island remained dry; nothing in the north/northeast and most of the Tramuntana.
But there are the alerts overnight and into Thursday morning. These are as they were when issued on Tuesday - amber for rain and thunderstorms for all areas, midnight to 9am, 50 litres per square metre of rain in one hour.
There are also yellow alerts for rain and thunderstorms on Friday afternoon; north/northeast and east.
The forecast for Thursday, once these alerts pass, is pretty good. Weather stations are at present all pointing to a mostly sunny day with occasional cloud and just a low risk of a drop of rain.
Friday is looking as if it may be fairly cloudy for much of the island, with a chance of rain continuing into Saturday.
