Foggy weather rather clouded the New Year celebrations on Mallorca. The Met Office had been forecasting spring-like weather but it failed to materilise with a heavy blanket of fog engulfing Palma.
Temperatures also remained low falling to 1 degrees in some mountain areas. The unsettled weather is expected to continue throughout the weekend.
