After two preliminary debates for each of the ten participating schools, the much-anticipated final took place on Tuesday 16 December at the impressive Palma Pictures studio, a 4,500 m² high-tech venue. Pupils, teachers, sponsors, and guests arrived early, filling the studio as volunteers prepared the scene for two final debates. The event opened with an introduction by Debates Coordinator Kate Mentink and a warm welcome from Palma Pictures’ Managing Director Paul Abrey. The first debate, between Mallorca International and San Cayetano on the motion “In the 21st century, the concept of Constitutional Monarchy is no longer relevant,” saw Mallorca International take third place.

After a buffet break sponsored by Ticket Travel Agency, the main debate between Queens and King Richard III, on the motion “In our contemporary society, Art has lost its social, economic and political influence,” delivered a powerful, closely contested performance, with Queens ultimately declared the winners. The prize-giving ceremony celebrated all four teams and crowned Daisy Nienaber as Overall Best Debater, with additional awards presented by distinguished guests including Antonio Grao from El Corte Ingles, Fabian Kainz from the Mallorca Country Club, and Izzy Newman. Paul Abrey and Kate Mentink closed the event to enthusiastic applause, marking the occasion as a top-class celebration of debating and leaving everyone excited for Season 12 in September 2026.
