Stickers appear in various parts of Mallorca. They are common on road signs in the Tramuntana Mountains. And they can be unhelpful as well as unsightly if - as can be the case - they obliterate information.
These stickers are predominantly a German phenomenon and are for clubs and other groups who travel to Mallorca. There has been condemnation of the practice in Playa de Palma, where stickers have been attached to street furniture and pavements. Town hall workers have to get rid of them.
In Playa de Palma over recent days has been a car with stickers all over the bodywork. These aren't the result of anti-social behaviour. A German influencer has put them on his car.
Why? Seemingly to draw attention to himself when he is travelling around.
