The Love Island villa in Mallorca has been given a striking makeover ahead of the new ITV2 series, with fresh aerial images revealing a bold new blue firepit inspired by football stadium designs. The revamped set comes as preparations continue for the show’s return on 1 June.

Construction crews are still putting the finishing touches to the famous villa, despite the launch being just weeks away. The newly painted blue firepit and surrounding walls appear to follow a World Cup-style theme, hinting that football-inspired elements could feature prominently throughout the upcoming series.

Elsewhere, the villa retains its colourful summer aesthetic, with pink and green tones dominating the kitchen and lounge areas. Contestants will once again have access to the outdoor seating spaces, swimming pool, terrace and the secluded hideaway area used for private chats away from the rest of the group.

The terrace is expected to remain one of the villa’s main focal points, often hosting late-night conversations and secretive encounters between islanders. Freshly laid striped grass has also been added around the property.

The firepit has undergone several redesigns in recent years, shifting from its original wooden and white appearance to black-and-white styling, before last year’s bright pink version. ITV has confirmed Love Island will return in early June, with the refreshed Mallorca villa once again at the centre of the summer dating show.
