Residents in the area of the Krekovic Park in Palma have expressed concerns about cricket matches on Sunday afternoons.
A video shows a ball landing in the children's playground very close to a small girl. "This happens every Sunday afternoon."
The ball could have had more serious consequences, as it landed less than two metres from the toddler.
Some parents say they leave the park when the cricket starts for fear of being hit. They argue that there is a lack of control and are requesting increased supervision in order to prevent risks in the playground and ensure the safety and well-being of their children.
