A motorcyclist in his twenties died on Saturday evening following an accident on the MA-13 Inca motorway. A second man, also a motorcyclist, was injured in the same accident.
The accident occurred shortly after 8pm in the Santa Maria area. A motorcyclist heading towards Palma lost control of the bike and crashed into the guardrail. He died almost instantly.
Another motorcyclist was also involved. He was taken to hospital. There was no report of his condition. Both were apparently part of a group of motorcyclists.
The motorway was blocked for around two hours. The Guardia Civil are investigating the circumstances.
