Bulletin readers have spoken. Farage is their man but Burnham is popular

Reform leader, Nigel Farage, should be Britain’s next Prime Minister, according to a snap opinion poll on our website but Labour favourite Andy Burnham is popular. Our poll, launched 24 hours ago, shows why many Labour supporters want the “King of the North,” to replace Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, because he does have backing. Infact, according to our poll, he is the only mainstream politician who could challenge Farage and Reform.

There is bad news for the Conservatives with only handful of people believing that Kemi Badenoch should be the next Prime Minister. It is a similar story for the Liberal Democrats.

The turnout for the poll was low, which underlines the apathy many people have for British politics at the moment, but the result is interesting as it underlines what many political commentators are saying, the only man who can stop Reform is the Mayor of Greater Manchester.

A previous poll earlier in the week showed little support for Starmer. For Burnham to become Prime Minister he must become an MP first. If the result of our opinion poll was replicated then he would come a close second and leave his challenge to become Prime Minister in tatters.
