The billionaire Reuben Brothers, who are among Mallorca's biggest land owners, saw their fortune rise by one billion pounds to 27.9 billion, according to the Sunday Times Rich List published this morning. Brothers David and Simon, own over 2,600 acres of land and an estimated 13 kilometres of coastline on the island. They are now Britain´s second richest people.
Manacor Plots: Several large plots near Rafael Nadal's home and tennis academy, featuring beaches, natural caves, and a lake.
Cala Figuera: A 364-hectare plot near the Bay of Palma with 5 km of sea frontage.
Betlem Estate: A 120-hectare plot in Artà featuring over 1 km of coast, sandy beaches, and a lighthouse.
North Coast Land: Properties in Pollensa (Coves Blanques) and Andratx (Ses Basses).
Development Potential: While much of the land is protected, some plots include existing,, unused construction projects, such as the Can Forteza-Can Fresquet project.
Their portfolio is largely focused on acquiring unspoiled coastlines and rural land rather than immediate development.
While their fortune rose, according to the Sunday Times, it wasn´t good news for another big British Mallorca investor, Sir Richard Branson. He has an estimated wealth of 2.4 billion, a fall of 19 million pounds.
