Son Espases hospital in Palma continues to face challenges with the management of its public parking area, as patients and their families report persistent incidents of inconsiderate parking. The problem is especially noticeable during the busy morning hours, when demand for parking spaces peaks.

Those regularly attending the hospital have expressed renewed frustration over what they describe as 'a free-for-all' caused by drivers parking without regard for designated spots. Several vehicles are reportedly parked incorrectly or occupying two spaces instead of one. Visitors say this issue significantly limits the availability of parking during critical periods of high footfall.

One affected individual stated, "Outside there were cars parked on the slope, and inside, occupying two spots," highlighting the widespread nature of the problem. Despite repeated complaints, they claim the hospital management has so far "disengaged" from taking effective measures to control the situation. Calls have been made for stricter monitoring to prevent such parking indiscretions, especially when the hospital experiences its highest volume of traffic.

It is also notable that similar parking infringements occur in other areas of the hospital complex. However, concerns are amplified in the main parking zone, which offers the greatest number of spaces, yet suffers from persistent misuse.
