Spanish banks are pondering the end of the four or six digit security code with credit and charge cards as they bid to increase security in their battle with cyber-criminals. Despite increased security measures Spanish banks said that it is still a big problem and they are battling to make their accounts even more secure.

One of the proposals under considerations is replacing the digit security code with a finger print. Rather than entering your code you would place your finger in a especially designated area of your card.

The advantage is that this system is totally secure while the security code can be broken. Spain´s three main banks are working on various proposals which aims to replace the security code.

A growing number of people in Spain now pay using credit or charge cards. Cash is still king but it is in decline.

Banks are constantly warning over the dangers of cyber criminals and they hace adopted all sorts of security measures of the years.
