With holidaymakers anxious about the knock-on effects of the Middle East war on flights and prices, easyJet has confirmed it will not introduce fuel surcharges on flights or package holidays, offering reassurance to thousands of travellers heading to Mallorca and beyond this summer.

The airline announced that no additional charges linked to rising fuel costs will be added to either existing bookings or new reservations, including those for the 2026 summer season. The move is expected to be particularly significant for Mallorca, one of easyJet’s busiest Mediterranean destinations.

Tourism operators on the island have welcomed the news, noting that uncertainty over pricing has been a growing concern among visitors in recent months. With Mallorca heavily reliant on international arrivals—especially from the UK—clear, upfront pricing is seen as key to maintaining strong booking levels.

easyJet also stated that there are currently no disruptions to its fuel supply and that all flights and package holidays are continuing to operate as normal—another positive signal for Mallorca’s tourism sector as it prepares for the high summer months.

With visitor numbers expected to remain high, the airline’s commitment to price stability may further strengthen Mallorca’s position as a leading European holiday destination, particularly for cost-conscious travellers seeking sun, sea and reliability.
