She established a reputation last summer as the superyacht to the stars in Mallorca. Jennifer Aniston, Steven Spielberg, and Daniel Day Lewis were just a few of the star guests who enjoyed a holiday on board in Mallorcan waters. Who will be the guests this year? The Rising Sun is now moored in Palma ready for the new season.

Rising Sun is a 138 metre superyacht built in 2004 in Germany and currently owned by media mogul David Geffen.

Valued at over $400 million, it features 82 rooms across five decks, a basketball court/helipad, and a wine cellar. It is known for hosting A-list celebrities and business moguls.

Others guests on Geffen's yacht have included Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Oprah Winfrey.

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Geffen drew backlash for posting on Instagram that he and his 45-member crew were self-isolating in the Grenadines on Rising Sun.

Guests & Crew: Accommodates up to 16 guests in luxurious suites, with a crew of 45.
Spa/Fitness: Includes a gym, spa, and sauna.
Ownership & Value: Owned by David Geffen, the vessel was valued at approximately $400 million, with annual operating costs estimated between $25–$40 million.
