British Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, and his family enjoyed a Spanish Easter holiday last weekend at an undisclosed location as U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to “obliterate the entire civilisation” of Iran. Starmer enjoyed a family holiday in Soller before he became Prime Minister and at the time he told fellow hotel guests that he wanted to return.
One Spanish media outlet reported that the British Prime Minister had been in Valencia with his family arriving on a commercial flights last weekend. They alleged that he stayed in a luxury hotel in the city centre. There were few sightings of the Prime Minister who was accompanied at all times by four bodyguards, according to the report which has not been officially confirmed.
He then departed Stansted airport shortly after 8am this morning, embarking on a three-day diplomatic mission to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf partners. The Middle East trip, which had been in preparation for weeks, was only confirmed after Trump announced a ceasefire via social media just before midnight on Tuesday.
In the early 1970s former British Prime Minister Edward Heath travelled to Soller for a brief holiday after losing the general election.
