The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency services were called to the scene and treated the teenager before taking him to Son Espases Hospital in Palma.
He is reported to have suffered a fractured rib and a shoulder injury. Hospital staff carried out further tests, and his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
