Ryanair: you may think you look cool wearing these but you don't on our flights

No frills airline takes aims at people wearing these accessories

Ryanair has taken aim once again at what passengers wear on their flights. First it was jeans, now it is sunglasses. The Irish carrier took no social media and urged their passengers not to wear sunglasses....you don´t look cool, said the carrier. Ryanair´s view will come as a blow for Top Gun "Maverick" Tom Cruise, known for his aviator sunglasses.

Known for their bargain tickets, the airline has also made quite a reputation on social media, frequently poking fun at their customers and threatening to introduce even more regulations and charges than they already have — such as extra legroom seats or late check-in fees.

Now, however, Ryanair has taken a swipe at passengers who persist in wearing one type of accessory onboard, claiming it 'does not look cool'.

Taking to their Facebook page, the airline posted a message directed at their passengers. They wrote: "Please note: Passengers do not look cool wearing sunglasses on board." However, many weren't convinced, as numerous people took to the comment section to voice their own opinions.

"Could be true, but we don't care," one person wrote, according to a report in the Manchester Evening News.

Others went on to say that it was 'needed' due to the bright interior of Ryanair flights. One person argued: "Gotta shield our eyes from that highlighter-yellow cabin," talking about the airline's famously yellow and blue interior, according to the newspaper.
