London headquartered discount store to open in Palma

Pepco has enjoyed success across Europe

Opening in Palma this Friday

The Polish-owned but British registered discount store, Pepco, will be opening a branch in the Porto Pi shopping centre in Palma this Friday as it continues to expand across Europe. It already has more than 4,500 branches across Europe.

Pepco is a Polish discount store chain with shops across Europe. It is part of the London headquartered and Polish listed Pepco Group alongside sister Polish brand Dealz.

Pepco shops account for most of the group's shops with 3500 branches across Europe (out of a total of 4600), and has replaced Dealz (in format and brand) completely in most European countries, except for Poland, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

The high street store sells affordable clothing for the whole family, household items, stationery, toys, and pet accessories.

Pepco Group completed the sale of the Poundland business to Gordon Brothers in June 2025, separating the companies. While no longer under the same parent, a transitional agreement exists for supply chains. This sale aligns with Pepco’s strategy to focus on its core higher-margin European clothing brand rather than the underperforming UK-based Poundland chain.
