Mallorca Live has been awarded the Best International Live Performance at the 2025 Iberian Festival Awards, marking its second consecutive year of recognition. The Balearic festival stood out among five finalist categories, receiving the national award for the iconic Massive Attack concert held during its eighth edition.
The legendary Bristol-based band delivered one of the most anticipated performances at Mallorca Live 2025, the only appearance Massive Attack made in Spain last year. Their show combined a groundbreaking audiovisual presentation with a selection of their greatest hits, interwoven with thought-provoking themes, creating a concert that made a significant mark on the festival's history.
Álvaro Martínez, one of the three partners and directors of La Isla & Co., who accepted the award at the 10th edition ceremony held on Saturday in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, stated: "I want to highlight that this award is not just for the three managing partners who created the promoter La Isla; it's for the entire team that works tirelessly throughout the year to make each edition unique."
Looking ahead, the festival is set to host its ninth edition on 12 and 13 June at the Mallorca Live venue in Calvia. The lineup features prominent international acts including The Prodigy, Cypress Hill, Kaiser Chiefs, The Libertines, The Wombats, Luciano, and Adriatique. Spanish artists such as Aitana, Viva Suecia, Dani Fernández, Belén Aguilera, León Benavente, La Plazuela, Lia Kali, rusowsky, Standstill, and Ultraligera are also scheduled to perform.
