Last week, the German dermocosmetic brand skjur® officially celebrated its arrival in Spain with an exclusive launch event held at T Golf Calvià in Mallorca. The presentation marked the brand’s introduction to the Spanish market and brought together dermatology professionals, aesthetic doctors, content creators and national media specialising in beauty, health and lifestyle.
Developed by the German pharmaceutical laboratory URSAPHARM, which has more than 50 years of experience in the healthcare sector, skjur® is already established in several European markets, including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Poland. Its positioning in Spain is clearly defined: a premium, science-led dermocosmetic brand built around the principle “menos productos, más resultados” and the philosophy “Solo lo que tu piel necesita.”
The brand’s formulations combine clinically tested and patented active ingredients, including Glycoin®, which stimulates cellular regeneration; SLM® (Skin Lipid Matrix), designed to reinforce the skin’s lipid barrier; Ectoin®, which protects against environmental stress and prevents dehydration; and hyaluronic acid for deep hydration. skjur® adopts a biomimetic approach that imitates the skin’s natural processes, promoting high tolerance even for sensitive skin. All products are dermatologically tested, vegan, cruelty-free and free from silicones and mineral oils, and are presented in premium airless packaging to ensure formula stability and hygienic application.
In Spain, the brand launches with a streamlined four-step routine comprising a cleansing foam, eye contour, day cream and night cream. The aim is to simplify daily skincare while maintaining efficacy, strengthening the skin barrier and delivering 24-hour hydration.
The Mallorca event was conceived as an immersive experience where science and wellbeing converged in an intimate and minimalist setting aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. The programme included the official presentation of the brand and its pharmaceutical philosophy, a masterclass by dermatologist Dr. Anna Puigollers on the risks of excessive skincare layering and the importance of skin tolerance, and live demonstrations by make-up artist Olaya Vasco, who showcased how proper skin preparation enhances natural glow.
Guests also had access to a tester area, participated in media interviews, and enjoyed a jazz soundtrack and a cocktail reception reflecting the brand’s clean, modern identity. With its Spanish launch now underway, skjur® positions itself as a scientifically credible and editorially appealing addition to the national dermocosmetic landscape.
