Cheers to Jeremy Clarkson. Hawkstone beer arrives in Spain

You can buy the beer through the Hawkstone website which has now expanded to include Spain. It appears that the company wants to cash-in on Spain´s large expat community and ofcourse the millions of visiting tourists.

Jeremy Clarkson has made several, often controversial, critical remarks about Spain, including calling Coruna one of the worst places he has ever visited. He also recently labelled Madrid’s airport as the "stupidest" in the world, citing negative experiences with post-Brexit airport queues.

In 2021, the brewery began to collaborate with Jeremy Clarkson to produce Hawkstone Lager^[5] and later the brewery was rebranded to Hawkstone. Clarkson bought a stake in the brewery,

In 2024, Hawkstone Brewery was named by The Sunday Times as being one of the top 100 fastest growing British companies. The company was listed in the 2025 list at number 23.

The brewery is located on a farm in the Bourton-on-the-Water area in the Cotswolds. They offer two-hour tours during the summer, which includes a tasting of the beers they produce. The brewery building is made of Cotswold stone.
