The Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation into the discovery of the bodies of an 80-year-old mother and her 54-year-old son, both Spanish nationals, on Thursday at midday in a house in Portocolom, Felanitx.
The two bodies were found at around 2 p.m., according to Guardia Civil sources, in a house located at number 28 on Calle Grívia. A relative of the woman called the Felanitx Local Police to report that she had found her body.
Several patrols from the Local Police and the Guardia Civil, together with medical teams, rushed to the scene and confirmed the death of both individuals.
The Guardia Civil officers, who are investigating the causes of death, carried out a visual inspection of the property and found a cocktail of medications in the man’s room. Neither body showed signs of violence.
