Palma Police report having arrested a 46-year-old German woman last Tuesday. She was drunk and was causing a disturbance at the Olivar Market.
By the time police arrived at the market - this was around 7.15pm - she had moved on. There was then another report of her causing a disturbance, this time inside the Sant Miquel Church (Basilica as it now is).
The police went to the church and asked her to leave. Once outside, they checked the database and found there were two arrest warrants against her - one issued in Palma for a traffic offence and another in Manacor for harassment.
Due to her aggressive behaviour and intoxication, she was taken under police custody to Son Espases Hospital. She was discharged on the morning of February 18 and later appeared before a duty judge.
