A new super-luxury cruise ship, in the form and style of a super-yacht, will soon be a regular visitor to Palma this year. Four Seasons 1 will launch ths year and already a series of visits to Palma have been scheduled.
The first Four Seasons yacht weighs in at 34,000 tons with 190 berths spread across 95 very large, residential-style suites. It aims to combine the super-luxury service of a five star hotel with the freedom of a superyacht.
It will visit Palma at least twice this year. It was due to be accepted into service at the end of the last year and will debut on the Caribbean cruise circuit later this year.
According to the Four Seasons webiste: "each of the 95 suites aboard Four Seasons I is an ode to the spirit of yachting, designed to enhance your connection with the sea. Floor-to-ceiling windows erase the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, keeping the horizon in focus throughout your voyage. Transparent televisions and expansive private terraces ensure nothing comes between you and the view, cultivating a sense of pure, immersive serenity."
"Just like our voyages, the technology used aboard our yacht is in a class of its own. Ranging from cutting edge navigation and security systems to state-of-the-art satellite communications that ensure the same high-speed connectivity you are accustomed to ashore. Interactive systems also enhance each of our suites, allowing you to tailor your personal preferences. "
Four Seasons has recently launched their new hotel in Formentor which has been transformed into a super-luxury venue.
