The Spanish National Lottery’s Christmas draw has already awarded two fifth prizes in Palma. Number 23,112 was sold at Carrefour branch 36 in the FAN Mallorca shopping centre, Coll d’en Rabassa. Meanwhile, a complete series (ten tickets) of number 77,715 sold at the Carrefour on General Riera also won a fifth prize, drawn shortly after 11 a.m.

The first fifth prize, 23,112, carries €60,000 per series, €6,020 per ticket, and €301 per number played. It was mostly sold in Andorra (Teruel), with additional series sold in Zaragoza and Armilla (Granada), and nine tickets at the Palma branch alone account for €54,000 in prizes. Other series were sold across Spain, including Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia.

Andrés Mata, from the Palma Carrefour, said he was “very happy” after selling part of the winning tickets. He noted they are still checking whether the sales were made at the counter or via machine. This is not the first Christmas prize the branch has distributed: it also sold part of the second prize in 2014 and part of a fifth prize in 2009.
