The superyacht Slipstream is cruising Mallorca waters and she is owned by Canadian/Australian businessman Jack Cowin, who owns the Burger King franchise in Australia. A superyacht in local waters at this time of the year is certainly a welcome sight.

Designed by Andrew Winch, she features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with accommodation for 12 guests and 15 crew. The yacht has a top speed of 17 knots and includes amenities like a jacuzzi, gym, and various water toys.

Slipstream won the 2010 International Superyacht Society award for best yacht and best interior. The yacht has a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, with fuel tanks of 139,000 litres.

As of May 2025, the net worth of Cowin was assessed by the Financial Review Rich List at A$4.67 billion; and was ranked as the 26th richest Australian[ Meanwhile, Forbes Asia assessed Cowin's net worth as US$1.7 billion in 2019; and he was ranked as the 23rd richest Australian by net worth.

His yacht is well known and respected on the yacht charter market both locally and on the international stage.
