A burst pipe reported on Calle Olmos triggered an emergency response on Wednesday, although the incident has not affected the water supply, according to Palma City Council.
Technicians from Emaya were dispatched to the scene to begin repair work on the damaged infrastructure. Although it was not necessary to cut off the service, preventive measures are being carried out to avoid potential complications. Local Police units have also been deployed to the area to manage pedestrian traffic and ensure safety during the technical operation.
The council has urged pedestrians to take care when passing through Calle Olmos while the repair work continues. The fault is expected to be resolved by early Wednesday afternoon.
