One of this morning’s seminars at the ABTA convention in Magalluf, Calvia, was briefly interrupted by two protesters who managed to get on the stage to demonstrate against the use of marine parks.
The seminar chaired by Sky News presenter Jonathan Samuels featured Neil Swanson TUI UK & Ireland managing director and Steve Heapy, Chief Executive Officer of Jet2 plc, and Chief Executive Officer of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
The two interruptions were brief but caught security by surprise considering the positive atmosphere of the extremely important convention.

These species are essential for the balance of our marine ecosystems but, as we reported here a few months ago, enjoy an unfair bad reputation.
