Reyes Rigo, one of three Mallorcan women who was with the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza, is still being detained by the Israeli authorities, accused of having bitten a prison officer.

Lucía Muñoz, a Podemos councillor at Palma Town Hall, and Alejandra Martínez, a journalist, were the two other women detained after the flotilla was intercepted by the Israeli Navy less than 100 miles of the coast of Gaza last Wednesday. They arrived back in Madrid on Monday night on a Spanish Air Force plane sent to repatriate 27 Spaniards who had been released by the Israelis.

They spent almost five days in harsh conditions in a prison in the Negev Desert and insist their detention was illegal. There are reports of inhumane conditions and abuse - sleep deprivation, no food and water, beatings, racism, and being locked in a cage. Israel denies all of these accusations.

The former mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, was among the first group of Spaniards brought back to Spain on Sunday. She intends filing a complaint with Spain's Audiencia Nacional (National Court) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz, and other military officials for the arrest of the flotilla activists.

Reyes Rigo is likely to be deported on Wednesday. She says she was "dragged by force from the cell". The Israeli Prison Service says she and one other person were asked to leave the cell. They threw themselves on the floor. "They provoked us. They kicked guards."
