The courts of Bendinat Urban Country Club hosted the first El Económico Mallorca Real Estate Padel Cup this weekend. Organised by El Económico, the business supplement of the Grup Serra, together with Borbalán, a marketing and communications agency, the tournament saw 120 players competing across five categories. Sponsored by Minkner & Bonitz, El Corte Inglés, Jardins Tramuntana, Sestel Builders, and Seippel & Seippel International Insurance Brokers, the event featured thrilling matches from the very first point, with tightly contested scores.
The winners of the top men’s category were the duo of Daniel Hansson and Javi Roman, who triumphed over Julius Daub and Toni Matas. In the fourth men’s category, Marvin Bonitz and Carlos Cidon defeated Nick Rees and Paul Miller. Meanwhile, Gustaf Jonson and Diego Bichler claimed the trophy in the fifth category.
All winners and runners-up received numerous gifts and prizes from a range of partner companies, including Insuu, Clínica Savios, Iune Medical Center Palma, Terraza Balear by Gunni & Trentino - Interior Design & Furniture, Isabel Guarch, Love Affair Shop Puerto Portals, Bodegues Macià Batle, Kimpton Aysla Mallorca, Mallorca Hotel Honucai, Möet Hennessy, Punta Negra Mallorca, Botellas Runbott, Hospes Maricel & Spa Mallorca, and Julian Mikulasch Carpentry, which produced the trophies. Refreshments were provided by Estrella Damm and Coca-Cola, offering their Fuze Tea.
In the mixed category, Blanca Martin and Ignacio Freire emerged victorious against Ille and Javi Vidal. The women’s category was won by Rachel Angel and María Duval, who defeated Cristina Ruggieri and Benedict Dierickx.
Exciting matches kept the spectators on the edge of their seats, point by point. The event created a lively sporting, social, and festive atmosphere across the club’s terraces and facilities, considered among the best padel venues in Mallorca. Throughout the day, the Savios physiotherapy clinic offered assistance and treatments to players using state-of-the-art equipment.

Toni Calafell, Bendinat’s manager, oversaw the presentation of trophies and prizes. To close the day in style, all attendees enjoyed an exquisite cocktail prepared by Bendinat Urban Country Club, accompanied by an exclusive caviar and champagne pairing provided by Santos Gourmet.
