Around ten to one on Thursday morning, an electric car - a Tesla - caught fire in a garage at a property on C. Vicenç Buades in Puerto Pollensa.
No one was harmed by the blaze that started for as yet "unknown reasons". Smoke alerted residents who called the 112 emergency service line.
Fire crews based in Alcudia and Inca went to the scene. The fire was quickly extinguished.
A crane was brought in to remove the car, which had been more or less completely destroyed.
