All the work on Palma's Paseo Marítimo will be fully completed by the end of October (or possibly early November), according to the director of the Balearic Ports Authority, Antoni Ginard.

In an interview with IB3 Radio on Monday, he explained that one of the last items of work is for the Plaza de Santo Domingo de la Calzada: "We are finishing the steps that connect to Es Jonquet." Another is the Paraires Bridge, which connected C. Portopí Street with the Muelle de Paraires dock area: "We are finishing the reconstruction work following the demolition of the bridge."

There is also work on the Sa Riera Bridge, which will connect to the Sant Elm Gardens and the promenade. "We are finishing three specific locations, thus fully completing the work on the Paseo Maritimo."

The official inauguration of the remodelled Paseo is due to be in October. Work started in November 2022. It ran six months over schedule, the main work for the remodelling not having been completed until April this year.
