Holiday giant Jet2 has introduced a new rule, where children under the age of two travel for free – on both package holidays and individual flights to Mallorca and all the other areas where the travel firm has operations.
This deal was previously available for families booking package holidays, and it has now been extended to individual flights.
The main rule is that the child must be under two years old at the time of travel. Additionally, there have been changes to help families – up to three pieces of child equipment can now be transported free of charge in baggage.
An extra 10 kilos of weight for the child's items in the parents' baggage has also been added. Jet2's Chief Executive Steve Heapy said: 'Putting our customers first, we are making these changes, meaning that all children under 2 now travel for free, whether on a package holiday or an individual flight.'
Jet2 brings thousands of British holidaymers to Mallorca and is now Britain´s leading holiday company.
