On Saturday evening, around 7.20pm, a 54-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital in a serious condition after an accident in Pollença involving a bus.

At 5.50am on Sunday, a 43-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries following an accident on the MA-5011 in Coll d'en Rabassa (Palma).

The driver of a BMW car involved in this accident left the scene. Indications are that he wasn't responsible for the collision. He was located in Son Ferriol around 10am on Sunday and tested positive for cocaine.

Also on Sunday morning, there was a head-on collision between two vehicles shortly before the Son Vic tunnel in Andratx. The two drivers involved were trapped, and Mallorca Fire and Rescue had to help them out of the cars. They were taken to different hospitals. Three people in all were injured, two 18-year-olds and a 38-year-old man.
