A small plane crashed into the sea at Port Soller on Saturday evening.
The incident was reported at 8.20pm, and an emergency operation has been ongoing since then.
At present, the condition of the people is unknown. It is a two-seater that took off from the Binissalem aerodrome around 6pm on Saturday. Various recordings were made of it performing aerobatics. The crash was near Cap Gros between Soller and Deia.
Wreckage has been found, but as yet it has not been possible to confirm whether there were two people in the plane or one.
Personnel from the Soller Fire Station, the Maritime Safety Agency and the Guardia Civil's diving unit were immediately activated to carry out search and rescue efforts.
