A driver died on Tuesday morning following a collision between a car and a van in Santanyi.
The accident happened shortly before 7am on the road between Calonge and S'Alqueria Blanca.
It has been established that the driver of the car, a Peugeot 307, lost control. The road was wet because of rain. His car was hit on the driver's side by a Renault van, the driver of which was unharmed.
Once on the scene, medics could do no more than confirm the death of the driver.
